Afternoon Y'all! Today is my 39th birthday!
I'm thankful for my life and all that God has allowed and blessed me with! He continues to blow my mind and I'm learning more about Him and myself everyday...
Throughout the last 12 months, I've been experiencing at least three themes I'd like to share with you:
It's never too late! The world is always trying to put expiration dates on God's promises, our dreams, decisions, opportunities, and possibilities. But with God, there are no limits with Him (Psalm 147:5). God says all things are possible with Him at any time (Philippians 4:13, Mark 9:23)! Therefore, as long as you're still alive, it's never too late to be obedient and do what God is calling you to do on earth.
When people show you who they are, believe them. It is written that only God knows the innermost parts of us [what's truly in our hearts and thoughts] (1 Samuel 16:7, Jeremiah 17:10) and that we can discern what we can't see by assessing each other's outward fruits.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. ~Matthew 7:15-20 (NKJV)
3. Some of the best, most rewarding gifts:
Life with Jesus!
Family.
Friends who are like family.
Serving as God leads you.
Learning to love others [friends and foes] like Christ loves us.

My theme has been Anchor from Pastor Michael Todd. I went to dollar tree and saw an Anchor before I even heard his sermon. Then I went back sand saw Anchor paper and I purchased it to. I am leaning to trust more and leaving everything in God's hand.
